Every project begins with a suitable site

Every solar project begins with the search for a shade-free site. Our focus: utility-scale free-field power plants for grid integration. In collaboration with you, we search for the ideal solution in your region. JUWI carries out yield reports and drafts plant concepts. We take care of lease contracts, planning permissions and options for electricity feed into the grid.

With our planning your project becomes sound and sustainable

We define the number and type of modules as well as the assembly systems tailored to the conditions on-site. Furthermore, our experts optimize the profitability of the project by negotiating framework contracts with component manufacturers and favorable credit terms with banks. Our financing experts search for investors and the financing of our approved projects.

In the construction phase, the solar park becomes reality

We undertake the construction management and coordinate all activities during the construction phase. Modules, assembly systems, power inverters and transformers (where applicable) are delivered, assembled and wired. Depending on the onsite conditions, road construction measures may become necessary. JUWI puts the plant into operation by connecting it to the power grid via an earth cable.

The right financing ensures the project is a success

Close to the market: Our experts take care of investors and banks to finance our ready-to-build projects. Our investors are regional energy suppliers, industrial and service companies, institutional and private investors as well as energy cooperatives, citizens and municipalities.

We offer attractive purchase price models - from an all-inclusive price on conclusion of the contract to staggered pricing. We will find an individual solution. PV power plant Pike Solar

Record-breaking project in the USA

With an output of 223.6 megawatts, JUWI realized the largest solar power plant in the company's history in the US state of Colorado in 2023. The energy yield will cover the annual electricity needs of over 46,000 US households.

Solar farm Gesmold

Direct energy supply for an industrial company

The 10-megawatt solar park in Gesmold, developed by JUWI, has been supplying solar power directly to the plant of SPIES Packaging, a manufacturer of injection-molded plastic packaging, since late summer 2024. With this facility, the company from Melle covers at least 20 percent of its electricity needs.

Solar farm Seckach

Battery storage inclusive

In a joint project, JUWI and MVV commissioned a 9.8 megawatt solar park with a 3.6 megawatt battery storage system in Seckach, Baden-Württemberg, in 2023. The hybrid project is an example of a series of renewable energy projects that JUWI has built in combination with storage technologies.
