Operations

Your all-in-one solution: Since 2021, JUWI has been offering a comprehensive service package for standalone battery storage systems—independent of the manufacturer. With a strong focus on operational reliability and efficiency, our team currently manages battery storage projects with a total capacity of 180 megawatts and over 350 megawatt-hours of storage. Our services include both technical and commercial operations management, as well as 24/7 remote monitoring.

Service, Maintenance, and Repair

Our experienced team plans, coordinates, and carries out inspections, maintenance, and repair work — efficiently and independently of manufacturers. With our certified electrical specialists, we also offer thermographic inspections and high-current resistance measurements, as well as hydraulic expertise for cooling systems.

One location – many possibilities

There are several options for implementing storage projects. A standalone battery storage system is directly connected to the grid and operates independently of wind or solar power generation. Very often, storage projects are developed as co-located solutions with a solar and/or wind farm. Depending on whether the storage system serves solely as an intermediate storage for generated wind or solar power or also draws electricity from the grid, it is referred to as a 'green' or 'gray' energy storage system.

Seckach, Germany

JUWI and MVV’s First Hybrid Solar Park

The Seckach solar park in Baden-Wuerttemberg was developed with a co-located battery storage system by JUWI and Smart Power. Annually, It supplies clean electricity to approximately 3,200 households.

Schmölln, Germany

Germany's First 'Wind + Storage' Project

Two Vestas  V136 wind turbines, each with an installed capacity  of 3.6 megawatts and a battery storage system with a capacity of 3 megawatt-hours contribute to security of supply and network stability. Thanks to the lithium-ion battery unit, the plant can now provide clean electricity to the grid even in low-wind conditions.
